Please try again later. Verified Purchase. I bought this gel because I recently developed an acrylate allergy after doing gel x for about a year.

Anytime I do gel nails or gel x I end up with extremely itchy and sometimes swelling fingertips. I've tried three different base gels since I've developed this allergy and this is the ONLY base gel that has worked. No itching, no swelling, nothing.

I would reccomend using a primer or maybe a dehydrator, but giving your nails a good wipe with rubbing alcohol does the job just as well, to get the gel to really adhere. I was skeptical because there isn't an ingredient list BUT it's a win for me!! UPDATE: After using this gel for about 5 months I can absolutely say that this causes no itching.

I now use this to give my toes a hard base to keep them strong and not break and it's made my gel pedicures last up to two months. I've used this gel to apply my gelx tips as well as give myself a fill because the product is not too runny and can hold its shape before you cure.

I know it's pricey but this is absolutely worth the buy and has lasted me 5 months, using it for about sets on myself, and I will probably need a new bottle within the next 2 months.

This is a wonderful nail product , love it and will buy again. Worth the price tbh, I can finally do my gel-x nails again without my hands breaking out in allergic rashes!

I have to use press on nail glue when my gel-x nails fall off. I recently developed an allergy to gel nail products Beetles brand seems to give me the worst reaction.

I kept waiting for the telltale itch and redness, but it never came. I hope I continue to tolerate this product and I hope it works for you too!

So previously I used the gelish soft gel system and it turns out I am allergic! I did my nails with this last night and 3 have popped off already….. The nails that popped off were on the hand I forgot to bond.

So I guess we are in a wait and see period but the other nails seem to have stuck well. UPDATE: these continue to pop off at a much quicker rate than traditional soft gel tips. I have experimented with using a standard gel polish base coat after the PH bonder and THEN this extend gel.

That has worked the best so far. I got it and did a patch test on a single nail and left for an hour and my nail got red and itchy and swelled up. After removing the gel, I still got blisters around my finger.
